Threaded Gate Valve
Threaded Gate Valve
XHVAL manufactures high quality threaded gate valves in different dimensions for various applications.
Introduction of Threaded Gate Valve
A threaded gate valve is also known as an NPT gate valve. The NPT stands for National Pipe Tapered threads. This is a US standard for valve and pipe threads. A tapered end allows the valve to be pulled tighter into the pipe during connection. This achieves a really tight seal, which is why this connection is one of the most common in both valves and pipes.
According to ASME and ANSI standards, the rate of threaded tapered ends is 1-inch diameter to every 16-inch length. A threaded gate valve is well-suited for piping systems that handle low pressure. Apart from providing an easy and fast assembly, it is more affordable compared to most end connections.
