Introduction of Cryogenic Butterfly Valve
This butterfly valve is useful in controlling or throttling the flow of cryogenic media. In general, a cryogenic valve is quite similar to a typical valve. The main difference is the extended stem found in the cryogenic type. The extended stem is important in maintaining temperature by insulating the stem seal. This also protects the stem from getting damaged due to extreme temperatures.
The valve is used in applications with working temperatures below -110°C. It is often used in LPG, LNG, and industrial gas processes. Also used in other applications with relatively low temperatures to control and regulate the transport of cryogenic gases.
