Brass globe valve

Brass Globe Valve

Introduction of Brass Globe Valve

A globe valve made from bronze means that the valve has enhanced versatility. Brass, an alloy of copper and zinc, is very malleable. This means it is easy to forge and cast. While brass may have excellent corrosion resistance, it is not well-suited for applications with high chlorine levels.

The globe valve is quite similar to its bronze counterpart. The main difference is brass has a higher melting point. This is why it’s generally more expensive. Since brass can withstand extremely high pressures, it’s commonly used in applications that involve both severely high pressures and temperatures. One great example is natural gas lines. XHVAL provides more well-performanced globe valves for your different applications.
