Angle globe valve
Angle Globe Valve
Introduction of Angle Globe Valve
The angle globe valve is the enhanced version of the T-pattern globe valve. The edges of this type are in a 90° position, allowing media flow to make a single 90-degree turn. This also means that it doesn’t need an extra pipe or elbow to make a sealed connection. With this design, an angle globe valve is ideal in inconsistent flow conditions as it can withstand slugging effects.
This globe valve is primarily used in applications containing highly viscous and corrosive fluids. Its design can handle these fluids well as the outlet pipe leads to the bottom. This ensures that the process fluid is completely drained off. This further leads to the prevention of clogging and corrosion of valve parts.
